Day six of sickness

Cadence has been sick for several days, throwing up often and diarrhea. After discussing it with the doctor via telephone and video call they decided the best next step was to take her to the ER upon arriving to the ER everyone was very concerned about the cough we spent four hours there outside in the hundred degree heat. Covid tested poor sweet girl, they swabbed her brain she screamed bloody murder. Then they did chest x-rays because of her pneumonia to make sure it had cleared up because the cough came with in hours and she wont stoo coughing. Her inhalers weren't doing anything. She was dehydrated. X ray came back way clearer than the one before. Negative covid test. More zofran. It was awful going to the ER in general but we're going to the ER during this Covid pandemic everything is done outside. The x-rays were taken between two buildings it was awfully hot she slept on two chairs. What a different experience. Temp was so sweet to Cadence she ran to her room before leaving to the er and she got her a special toy of hers to take.

Tooth Fairy

well the day has come we told Temp about the tooth fairy. She was in tears this am asking what she did wrong?? Why didnt the tooth fairy come. Its only an excuse but i was so tired I honeslty just forgot....mom fail This was her last tooth. Chris and I talked about our next move, we cant have her going to school and telling people the tooth fairy didnt come as kids are mean we didnt want anyone making her feel worse. We told her, she crie and did not know what to say. We discussed the day we each found out the truth. I wasnt told as i figured it out. It was cute for ger to reflect back and see all we and family did to keep it alive.

Goal Setting Conference

Temperence had her goal setting conference, she is doing great! She has As and Bs, her lexile reading level is end of 7th grade level. she needs to focus more at the task at hand, she has a habit of rushing through so she can read. This is the first year she has had a man as a teacher. He moved her to the front of the class so she can focus more, Temp said she likes her new spot.

Cadence is sick

Cadence woke up Wednesday am in vomit, no fever no other symptoms. She was acting fine. Thursday I put her down for nap she woke up in vomit. Friday night I put her to bed she woke up at midnight vomited and has had thick mucus poops with food whole in it from last night dinner. The poop has a very distinctive smell. So much has been going on with her, poor girl

Therapy

Now that Abigail has been dignosed we have more opportunity for therapy we can get up to 35 hours a week. Right now we're at six moving up to 10 and see how she tolerates it. We have a behavior therapist and she's so high energy and Abigail really thrives with her typically minimal crying unless Abigail's had a hard day and it's been up since four. She comes to our home, when Abi turns three we have the option to have her at the center, the center has more opportunities for her to learn. She would still have her one on one behavioral therapist. The center has rooms where they learn how to do haircuts and cross streets and engage in every day activities. Abi seen a feeding therapist last week and she has low muscle tone. She chews her food 3 to 4 times and that's why she is continually choking and it also is the reason why she is always backed up because she doesn't chew her food. We noticed she takes the crackers and tries to make iy soft with applesauce as she knows she cant handle the hard cracker. Its also the reason she prefers certin foods. We noticed she holds food in thr back of her mouth. Typically tou would gag but shes not. She uses her sooon correctly but since she doesn't have the ability to take the food off the spoon correctly she turns the spoon upside down to try to dump it into her mouth. We exercises to start to strengthen her job. She also suggested certain things instead of hard crackers get ones that are more buttery that are softer and dissolve in your mouth instead of corn chips maybe Pringles or veggie chips

Vegas

Chris and Kay went to Vegas, Chris went into the raiders lounge and his favorite youtube guy was there and he called chris up on stage tk take a shot. Since daddy was away, we totally Splurged and had in and out.

Mall Time

Chris and I braved taking three small kiddos to the mall, Edward (2) came with us, he was an angel. Abi didnt like waiting in starbucks it was a huge trigger, so chris being the amazing husband. He let me get my coffee while we walked cirlces with three kiddos. Love his support

Cadences toe update

Sweet girls toe was hanging off, I didnt want it to be snagged so I cut thr dead nail.

Pirate Park

Cadence wanted to do a picnic at the park, we packed are lunch and headed out. Temp was at school. First time chris has been, he always has fun at the park.

Azule house

Temperence was thrilled to find a scratcher untouched in the couch, she asked her auntie if she could scratch it. She also completed some cute puzzles.

Cadence put chris's ear pods in backwards and grabbed his phone

abigail is playing with her rainbow stacker and started saying rainbow over and over.

Cadence hit her toe

Chris and I watched the entire thing and we both didnt even get up as she didnt seem to be hurt. Then i heard the cry and jumped.
