Repacking the diaper bag

If I know we are leaving somewhere bright and early,  naturally try to make the morning easier by packing the night before. As I am packing I go to refill Cadences snack cup and sure enough she had added to it. Yes she placed a rock in there. 

As I was loading her into the car the other day she was crying and I didn’t wasn’t understanding why she was so upset. She was concerned about her snack cup and I kept giving it to her and she kept giving it back. Finally I look inside and she has stuck her pacifier into it and wasn’t able to remove it.

Bye Bye

Cadences new thing is getting a purse, baby and stroller head to the door and says bye bye then proceeds to try to leave out the garage. Thankful for baby locks

She loves her ears

For her first birthday she had Minnie ears and now she won't take them off, I am glad it came in a value pack as the dog seems to enjoy them as well or she is chewing them up so she won't have to wear then anymore.

Practice makes perfect

Cadence will not hold hands and has no fear that equals a huge safety concern. I am working with her and walking around the little block in front of our home in order to work on streets vs sidewalks and crossing. Making sure to point out cars. Cadence is so sweet and wants to see everyone, she was walking into someones driveway who was cooking in her garage due to the seasonings in her food. She invited Cadence and I in and Cadence leaps into her arms and was all about what she was making. I love our community here and enjoy our walks. Bella is always a great help as well, she guides Cadence if she helps me with the leash. 

This is what Cadence does when she does not want to do something, she lays herself ever so gently on the floor.

Three months

Abigail is three months old, I can't believe how fast time goes. This is our last little baby and time needs to freeze. She is reaching for toys and batting at them. Her new favorite chair is the one her grandma and grandpa got her. She loves to bat the spinning thing. Funny part is Cadence thinks it is hers and gets jealous when she sits in the chair. We are learning sharing :) Abigail is eating 4oz every 3 hours. She still sleeps a lot but is awake for longer spurts (2 hours). She loves the car and falls asleep or just chills. She is as sweet as pie.

Story Time

Library offers a preschool story time 2x a week, since it is summer Temperence gets to come and explore the library. The first time she stayed and helped Cadence. I noticed Cadence sat through the story and singing. The following time it was just Cadence and Abigail, Cadence was running around and not wanting to sit. I even sat on the floor and sang however she needed big sis. 

Mall Shenanigans

Temperence picked out and very pretty bear from Build A Bear, we played around and explored. Cadence was on the move, with her new found freedom of walking.

Alesha and the boys came for a swim sleepover

The kids had fun running around, swimming and being goofy kiddos. Alesha and I were worn out and turned in early but it was so nice to have a relaxing night. The kids get along so well and enjoy playing with each other.

Temperence had her friend over to play and swim, I was able to catch these cuties in Cadences little pool playing with her.

Tried another splash pad

I am working on taking the kids out more now that Abigail is older and had her first set of shots. We are exploring all these amazing parks. Poor Cadences swim diaper was chaffing her legs and caused some mean looking rashes on her legs. She showed no sign of hurt while there until I went to change her. 

SplashPad

We went to a local splash pad with another mama, she has a girl in Temperences last class (3rd grade), she also has a sweet boy a few grades ahead. We had snacks and let the kiddos run around.

When your child has your phone

I was checking out at Walmart and Abigail was strapped to me as I waited for the longest cashier to finish up the groceries. Temperence i thought was playing a game but when we left she said look mom.

Cadences first time on a swing 

After dinner we headed over to check out a park that I walked at with a moms group. I knew Temperence would enjoy it however she was in school. I tell Temperence all the time she is the reason Cadence is so kind. I never asked Temperence to take Cadence and she would have dragged her to the top of this giant play structure had I let her. I love seeing them together and being kind.
