Back to work

Well this was my first week back at work :( I miss my little angel so much throughout the day leaving is really hard. I only worked Tues-Fri due to the holiday so that was nice. Chris had to work till nine on Friday (overtime)so Kim was amazing and got up early and headed over to our house with Molly to watch Temperence for two hours till Chris came home. I have noticed that Friday has been so much easier for me because Chris had her so she was with a parent. It makes me sad that such a young baby has to be away from her parents. Plus I know I will have the weekend with her. Leslie has been caring for her the other days. She was really great and wrote everything down for me along with sending cute pictures throughout the day. Next week she will be coming to our house so Temperence will have a normal crib, jumper and high chair which makes it so much easier because she likes to eat her feet while she is eating and a high chair prevents that. Work has been challenging as a lot of people are new/gone. I also am doing a different position I used to work part time legal secretary and part time Accounts Payable Specialist now I am working full time Accounts Payable Specialist. Everyone has been very nice and welcomed me back. Also my boss has been understanding about me being sad slash coming in with red puffy eyes. I have turned my desk into a Temperence shrine. I dont care I like looking at her all day long :) My daddy says hes waiting for the tattoos to start LOL I think leaving your child is the toughest thing I have had to deal with emotionally. Everyday when I have to hand my little angel over to another person to watch a part of me dies a little. I want to be the one to watch her but financially we cant. On the other hand I am trying so hard to look at the positive side. Chris and I are fortunate enough to have a beautiful, smart, healthy and very happy daughter. Some people are not fortunate enough to have children. Temperence seems to be okay with the transition. She has been a little more needy and grumpy because she has to get up earlier then she is used to and I have noticed she is waking more at night. I bet this is such a hard thing for her. Her mom has been there for the past six months and now she is just gone nine hours a day but like most children she will get used to it. She is so adorable when I come in I get a gummed smile those are the best or at night when we are playing she is just so much fun. Temperence got a new car seat we received it yesterday. After plenty of asking around and researching I found Britax to be the best, pricey but its safety cant go cheap there.

Six Months Old

Our little girl is six months old already! She is weighing in at 20.8 pounds 28 inches tall and her head is 26 cm. She is eating one to one and a half 3.5 ounce jars of baby food. Drinking about 20-30 ounces of milk everyday. Temperence is eating/playing with Gerber puffs she puts them in her mouth then spits them out because she does not like the taste. I need to get some Cheerios. She has been experiencing teething for a couple months now, which is making sleeping very difficult for her. She still has no teeth you can see some white under the gums. She is taking three naps a day around 9,12 and 3. I am still not back at work yet my official first day back is Tuesday the 16th.

New Bath Seat

We purchased a bath seat for Temperence to give her more mobility in the bath tub plus she was getting to big for her infant tub.

Chris loves this song

We know this is far in the future but he really likes this song for Temperence. So sweet

Look what daddy made for me

Leslie put on our baby shower and part of the decorations was Temperences name is wooden letters but she ended up not using them and gave them to us for her room. Well we have been busy and they have been just sitting in her room. So Chris put them up last night. He did a great job
