USS Hornet

Temperence enjoyed a visit to the USS Hornet, they gave each child a passport with a position on the ship. Temperence wanted to be a captain but she was an airman. After viewing the 18 story ship, Temperence was exhausted from all the stairs.

Car seat blanket

Received a surprise package in the mail from my grandmother Carol (my moms Mom). She made Cadence a car seat blanket. She also included a blanket and picture frame decoration. 

Billy-Beez

I wanted to spend some time with Temperence so we headed to her favorite place the mall. We walked around shopped a few Store, one being See’s candy. Then we headed to Billy Beez and wow was that place is nuts. Turns out Temperence wanted me to run around and crawl through all the tubes with her. She looks at me with sweet eyes, “daddy does it”. Next thing I know I am crawling through a gigantic play structure. Oh how I wish I hadn’t worn a sweater. At the end we played a really game she ran on the play structure and I would be on the bottom following trying to decode where she was going and which slide. We had some really food laughs. 

Acne

Cadence is experiencing the same acne Temperence had. Doesn’t seem to bother her but looks painful.

Little Cadence Feet

Six weeks! Where has the time gone. Cadence seems to have always been in our hearts because she fits right in our family. She is eating 4oz every three hours minus the night, we typically head to bed around midnight and she will get up once a night sometimes more but typically only once. Growing so quickly her eyelashes are getting longer, she didn’t have much at birth. She smiled for the first time this week in response to me speaking to her.

New Years Eve

We were invited to Aaron and Nisha’s house for an pajama party. We watched the movie Bright. Kids had so much fun running around. 

Horse Trail

For Christmas Temperences was given two gifts:

-Trail ride with dad for an hour and a half

-Pedicure and manicure with Mom 

I scheduled the ride while Chris was still off of work. They had a lot of fun. 

Walk and Park

We went to our local track and took the girls on a walk and to the park. 

Christmas Day

Our first Christmas as a family of four, our girls woke up in their matching pajamas. We got Skype up and running for our yearly tradition of  opening presents with snow papa and Grandma. 

We stayed home for the first time in eight years , it was nice not running around and stressing. 

Christmas Eve at Azule House

This year Kay asked if we weee available on Christmas Eve, typically we do it a Christmas Day. Zack was with Leslie on Christmas Eve so it was nice to have most of the kids there. A delicious dinner. Temperence has been requesting to push Cadence everywhere, so sweet!
