Temperence drew a very sweet drawing (I am not supposed to look till tomorrow however the drawing is in the kitchen). Chris was very sweet and offered to take us out to dinner but I am still sick and wanted to stay home. Take out it is, we enjoyed Olive Garden.
Temperence is doing very well with swimming. She is jumping in and floating on her back, this is huge for her. This year she has gained so much confidence in swimming.
While I was flossing Temperences teeth I noticed she is gaining her 21st tooth. They refer to them as six year molars. She said she is not in any pain but it seems to look painful.
Keira slept over they had pizza, ice cream with bite sized brownies then as a special treat since Chris was not home they slept in our bed (I slept in the living room). They enjoyed watching shows before bed. I never had to go back in from our original goodnight, they were out. In the AM they had pancakes. Keria joined for free swim then Temperence had her lesson.
We enjoyed Halloween at the Azule house. It was a much calmer Halloween probably due to it being on a Monday and threatening to rain. Temperence scored full size candy bars and due to lack of children double scoops of candy. One gentleman filled half her bucket. Chris was off to join for the evening.
The kids learned about chores in the 1800s and what they had to accomplish before they were able to head off to school. Milking a cow, hand washing laundry, churning butter. Then off to the one roomed school house, she was thrilled to know they separate the class into girls and boys.
We went to the pumpkin patch; the maze was the best part well along with the yummy corn. Unfortunately it was extremely hot and extremely packed as it was the weekend before Halloween. We scored buy one get one free on our pumpkins. For the first year Temperence expressed interest in carving pumpkins. Typically she just has her dad do it as she watches but she's not into getting her hands messy and to tell you the truth I am quite frankly frightened to hand her a knife. Temperence did a fantastic job and even cut out the eyes and nose. Also cleaned out the inside.
Summer grandpa and grandma came into town to work and Temp and I went to visit. They purchased a 5th wheel that they live in, very nice! Temperence enjoyed her Smores.
