Flowers from my work

My work spoiled me, they sent a pack and play, clothes, bouncer, rocker. Feeling loved, enjoying the daily goodies.

After one night in the hospital we are home

First morning home cat is not happy.

Welcome Cadence McKenzie Sneed

She arrived four days early 12/6/17, I started to have contractions at 5:30 by 6:30 I started making calls to have family come pick up Temperence and Chris to come home from work. We arrived to the hospital at 7:30 I was dialated to 4. The contractions were very painful I was given pain medicine via the IV to ease the pain until the epidural. The pain became so unbearable I was flopping around on the bed, my body felt like it was splitting into two. Once I had the epidural life was soooooooooo much better. I enjoyed that the was able to feel my legs the entire time. I also was able to feel the contractions but not the pain. At midnight they came in to check me and I was ready to push. Since baby and I were healthy and not in pain. They asked if I could wait till lunch’s were over. Started pushing and 14 minutes later Cadence was born. 8lbs. 7.oz 21” long. Total labor time a tad over 8 hours.

Second day

Silly elf is roasting marshmallows on her second day back.

Temperences was beyond thrilled to see the elf this AM before school. I didn’t take a picture but she was hanging on the window with a sign. I am back and I missed you. Tonight before bed she made her a home. Temperence made a ring rope to tear off one a day for a countdown till Christmas, a vitamin, a bath and an elf on the shelf game.

Waiting for the bus in the AM
