Let the fun begin

Temperence is on the move. She was doing a swim crawl then last weekend she started to do the traditional crawl on Sunday. Today she is already better at it. Crazy how fast they learn. She is such a smart happy little girl.

We went on the carousel. I strapped her into a animal and was going to hold her but they said she had to be able to sit on her own. So we ended up having to ride in a carriage.

Happy Hallow

Sunday has been a fun day! We woke up had a lazy morning. Then Chris and I cleaned the house. Finished up the laundry. I really love that he helps, Thanks Chris!!! We all got ready then met up with our friends Joel, Tamara and their daughter Brianna (6 months) for lunch then headed over to Happy Hallow. They just finished remodeling so we thought we would check it out.

9 Month Pictures

We had her nine month pics taken today. They were sent to me and they now put Sears all over them. It is dumb if you try to enlarge or even print them they come out very pixelated so there is not point in putting Sears all over them. I was a little upset because I like to post them all since we only buy once pose (part of the package deal).

9 Months

9 Month Doctors Visit

Temperence had her nine month doctors visit. Her weight is 21.5 85%. Her length is 30 inches over 95%. Her large noggin is 46 centimeters 95%. All in all she is growing very well. He said to keep doing what we are doing because she was a little over weight last time and now she is in a good range. He gave me the speech about Americas obesity problem and how is starts young. We have moved her to stage three baby food which she hates and really wont each much of. He said have you seen that stuff its chewed food. I would not want to eat it either LOL. I was kinda thinking the same thing. So he said just keep giving her stage two and move towards table food. I asked about switching her to cows milk instead of formula but he said to wait till she was a year. Since this was her nine month check up we did not have to do any shots :)

Daycare update

Temperence has been with her new daycare now for two weeks. The first week she was needy. The second week Roberta says that she is starting to play with the other kids more (one being her own cousin). She is letting Roberta tend to the other children without crying. I really hope this stays this way. She is teething and I left medicine for her to give her but she said she was fine all day. She is sleeping about an hour and half two times a day. Eating a lot. Little girl seems to be happy. I hope she remains happy and this is not a fluke. The drop off is a little tuff. At first she was grabbing my clothes and throwing herself on me saying mama mama, Now she crys right when I sit her down or am about to leave but she gets over it rather quickly. I think it is harder on me then her. All in all we are both happy. I hate leaving her but It makes it a lot easier when she is happy not miserable throughout the day.

Her special friend

Temperence loves this blanket. We received it as a gift at the baby shower and for about four months now she has grown a strong attachment to it. I take it to daycare and home everyday. She goes to sleep way faster if she has this blanket.

Temperence Is spending the day with Molly and Kim

Our daycare closed today her brother in law was having an operation. So Kim was great and is watching Temperence. Once I told her I would be at her house at 7 she offered to come to ours. Temperence and I never get the luxury of having someone watch her in her own home. Unfortunately Temperence has been teething for about a week not. She has not been sleeping hardly at night. Gets upset quickly. I think along with teething she is going through a growth spurt she is eating a ton during the night and day.

Jonahs First Birthday Party

This past weekend was Temperence's cousins first birthday party! We had a great time! The birthday boy was a little cranky he woke up and the whole house is full of loud people poor little guy did not like that. He warmed up after watching Molly. He is very fascinated with Molly. He did not seem to like his vegan cupcake. Temperence was sleepy since she did not get a second nap. So Chris and I feed her got he ready for bed and put her to bed in Aleshas room. I did not think it would work since a couple weekends ago we tried at Kim and Nathans and she was wanted nothing to do with it. To my surprise she went right to sleep at Aleshas house and it was really loud. Then we did the transfer around 11 to go home. I was tired and we never stay up that late. 9 months Old

9 Months old today! I just realized that I never posted for eight months. We were sick most of the month so I guess it was forgotten. Time is passing by to quickly now that Temperence has come into our lives. We look back and the delivery seems so far behind us, like we have been parents forever. We can not imagine life without her anymore. She is such a great little girl. She is happy a majority of the time. Daycare seems to be improving now that we have switched. She loves Roberta. When we walk into her house in the morning she gets a huge smile on her face. She only cries when I put her down to play. So sad but so cute she says mama mama and grabs my clothes. Roberta says she does great throughout the day she just likes for someone to be right next to her but this is only the first week. As for food she is going to town on formula these past couple days. We think a growth spurt is in our near future. The other day I picked her up from daycare from the time I brought her home to the time I brought her back to daycare she consumed 24 ounces. She is eating three meals a day of solids plus a snack puffs usually. I am going to start venturing into more finger foods. Her vocabulary consists of mama or dada. She says mama when she is tired does not like what is going on or just wants me to come back. Dada on the other hand is said mostly when she is happy and just wants to call his name or if she wants him to come back. She was sleeping through the night but she has reverted to waking up once in the middle of the night usually around 3 to eat a five ounce bottle. She has not started to crawl and we don’t think she will. She has learned how to get everywhere and anywhere in the house with rolling. She has no restrictions with this TRUST ME!!!! This little girl gets into stuff that I did not think she could. She amazes me everyday. We are lucky parents to have such a sweet well rounded angel!

We took her swimming today. She loved it. She was kicking and playing. She even was splashing her face so adorable!!!

trouble

Temperence loves Chris's playstation 3. She knows that she is not supposed to touch it. So she rolls close to it and looks at us with a big smile then goes to touch it. So cute
