4 Month Doctor Appointment

Took Cadence to see Dr. Jindia she is healthy and growing.  They did have some concerns on her head shape but she sent it off to a specialist to have them checked and said she would get back to me. It’s all cosmetic but she said she needs to get a second opinion. Crossing our fingers it’s just a precaution. She had three shots and an oral. I was getting her dressed and noticed blood running down her leg, the bandaid was soaked in blood it wasn’t sticking. I took her out to ask a nurse and the gentleman who gave her the shots came in and said that there are capillaries and since we don’t have X-ray vision sometimes you hit one. He cleaned her up and changed her bandages.  Then we set off to my doctor appointment and X-rays. She slept through the entire thing. She weighs 14 lbs. 7.6 oz. and 25.5 ” long. Her head is 42 cm.

Fishing

Temperence, Chris, Aaron and Adrian went fishing. Only one who caught a fish was Adrian but they had a good time. Someone is tired 

Sleepover

Keria slept over and the girls made pizza and had a great play date with the neighbor and her cousin. They played outside for hours. Temperence said her pizza was old Mickey Mouse and Keria said hers was Kauai. 

Learning to play golf

Temperence spent the day learning to play golf. The mother of the girls sent me a video and said that she is better then her girls who have been practicing for a few years. Maybe something we can look into on the future.

Makeup

Temperence expressed interest in Make-Up and asked if I would put it on her. 

Jumping

Another day of spring break we meet up with the Dugan’s at Rockin Jump. Then we walked over to lunch and Target. Liam (11) Keria (8) invites Temperence to come over for a sleepover. They jumped more at their home they have a trampoline.

During spring break we meet up with our friends Emma, Patty and Charlie. Had a nice brunch. Temperence was tired as I picked her up from a sleepover on our way to Emmas. Girls still had a blast.

Emma held Cadence while she was holding her she looked at her mom and I and said 

I’m holding the sweetest baby in the entire world.

Temperence and Cadence

Lately Temperence has been asking for her sister constantly. She enjoys being around her. Getting upset if we don’t let her comfort Cadence. I was putting her to sleep this evening. As we are reading she hears Cadence talking and heading towards being upset. I had to stop her three times from going to get her (Chris had her). I kept reassuring her daddy has her it’s okay she is fine. 

The other night I was doing dishes and Temperence comes into the kitchen and said don’t worry about Cadence crying I took care of it. I started to chuckle as she was supposed to be sleeping. I heard Cadence whining but she hadn’t been asleep that long and I was waiting to see if she would go back to sleep.

We stop by the Azule house for a quick visit and auntie Kay was holding cadence and I captured this sweet picture.

Last weekend

Tim came home for the weekend and we went to visit. Kay, Tim and Temperence played trouble. Then we headed to Aaron’s for dinner. Had a delicious BBQ and watched the fights. It was near midnight when we left.

Goodbye Toys R Us

Unfortunately Toys R Us is closing, this was a childhood favorite. My dad used to take me and tell me I could pick out any toy. I always got a doll of some sort that would feed and pee. Temperence scored a flying Falcon and Cadence scored soft blocks. 

Four Months

Somehow our sweet Cadence has turned four months old. She is eating 4oz every other hour during the day and she eats 2x at night. Midnight and 4ish. She is eating 8oz of solids daily. Currently she loves sweet potatoes and banana. Cadence is such a sweet baby however I see her diva personality shining through. If she is unhappy she screams and I don’t mean crying. She literally screams if she is unhappy. 

Bike ride

Temperence and Gabrielle ride bikes while I pushed Cadence. Then they played in the courtyard for four hours. Last night i didn’t get any pictures but they played at our front door till 8:30pm (Gabrielle is very allergic to our cats). 

Happy Easter

First we started the morning off with an egg hunt with clues to locate her basket.
