New Shoes

Temperence needed new shoes. She did not have any running shoes and it is starting to get cold. After work yesterday we headed to Payless. She looked so adorable this morning. To my surprise her shoe size is 5 1/2.

update on teeth

Last night I was getting Temperence ready for bed. She was so cuddley and just wanted to be with me. I knew something has been going on with her. It was sweet!! While I was brushing her teeth I seen that her fourth first molar is making its way. Two little parts have broken through. Poor angel's mouth is so swollen.

Weekend

Temperence was not feeling so well over this past weekend. The only cold like symptom she has is a runny nose but she is just not herself. She has a whole slew of teeth coming in so that could be the problem. We had a birthday party to attend and we bailed seeing I did not want to get everyone sick. We were also supposed to go to family's house but she was just not in a good mood at all. She would not sleep. It took a while to even get her to take one nap. Going to bed has been a fight. I am letting her win because I know this is not how she normally acts. Yesterday we just hung around the house. I took a shower while she played in the tub at my feet pretending to wash the windows. Then I turned the bath on and we played on the bottom of the tub together. It was fun. Since I know when I am not feeling well I want to be in my PJs so I put her in hers after the shower. We also watched way more tv this weekend then we usually do. I try to only have her watch one Barney in the morning and one at night.

Shopping

We went to the grocery store the other day and they have the coolest carts. They are little cars they sit in and you can lock the door they cant fall out plus they have seat belts. Inside the car it plays a show for them to watch while they drive. She was so content in this car well until we got into the checkout.

Mollys 3rd Birthday

Last weekend we went to Mollys birthday at Pump it Up Junior. It was our first time going there, it was a blast!!!! At first Temperence was scared and not into it what so ever (she also skipped 1st nap). Then she was all over it. It was a good time.

More painful teeth

Temperence has six teeth coming in. She has two molars and four front teeth (two on top and two on bottom). One bottom molar has broken through still bloody but some relief. The two front bottom teeth I seen last night have peeked out. On top of all this she has a really stuffed up nose. Temperence is having a tough time sleeping at night the last few days. Since she loves her pacifier so much and she cant breath that makes a very cranky toddler.I hope the poor angel with have some relief soon!!!

Temperence was given a really neat goody bag at Molly's 3rd birthday party. While daddy was at school Monday Temperence and I did some crafts after dinner. She did so great with stickers. I taped the paper to the table and we did them together. I tried crayons the other day with her and that did not turn out good AT ALL. She was screaming by the end of it because she could not eat them. I wrote her name on it and posted it on the fridge. Every time she walks by she gets excited.

14 Months Old

14 Months

Temperence turned 14 months yesterday. What an exciting time in her little life. She is learning all sorts of new words car (she says car with a Boston accent) shoes (she says with puckered lips) Barbie aka Barnie lately she has been calling him Elmo. She also has developed her own language she will look at you with a very serious face and have a whole conversation. She truly thinks she is talking to you. She is in love with barnie she begs for you to put in on. We try to limit her tv but she does get to watch him while I get ready in the morning and if she is lucky once when we get home. Light switches are so fascinating to her these days as well. Eating is going great. She still is a huge meat lover. Also is head over heels for pizza. Her newest thing with eating is she does not want bite sized pieces she thinks she is a big girl and wants to bite off her food not just pick it up. Sleeping is the same she goes to sleep at 8 wakes up around midnight to come to our room. She loves playing in playhouses aka boxes and building forts in the living room. I think its time to look into a princess playhouse for her room. I seen really neat ones on Amazon that we are thinking of buying for Christmas some even have tunnels and ball pits. Temperence also is so lovable lately most of the time if you ask her for a kiss she will eat your face in an attempt to give you a kiss. She also gives lots of hugs. She goes from 0 to 100 in seconds. We are trying to teach her discipline. She says please and we think she is trying to say thank you. She most of the time will listen when you say no she will stop what she is doing but she does try her luck and go over to the off limit item again later. We are definitely still working on sharing but in all do time. Temperence has six teeth two top, two bottom, and two molars. She has three more coming in another molar and two bottom teeth. She has been biting on everything. She also is becoming really good at watching where she steps and stepping over things. She has her own cupboard with tuber ware in it she has been really trying to screw on and off the lid. Temperence does not sit down for long. She is always on the move. She loves baths and would stay in there forever if you let her. She even will put her face in the water it is really funny tow watch.

Her first peanut butter sandwich wow was she messy. She really enjoyed it and had no allergic reaction.

Temperence and I a couple weekends back built a fort in the living room. She thought it was really fun she was laughing running in and out. I really want to get her a little princess house for her room.
