Teething

Cadence has been getting lots of teeth and very cranky. She has two top, bottom, canines just popped out, bottom molar has four corners out and the top molar same side is just starting. 

Double stroller

Scored a double stroller new to us for the next little girl. Going to have to purchase a new car seat but that’s okay. I wasn’t fond of the Britax infant car seat. 

Cadence approved, second seat is not on. 

Cadence 13 months

Cadence is working on discovering her new world. She is saying bye, yay, wow most frequently. Poor girl is getting her bottom right molar and both canines as well. She is still eating lots current favorites are cuties, carrots and cheese. Any type of meat. Pulling herself up onto everything and cruising furniture but not walking yet. 

Stitches

Temperences head is healing nicely, almost all the stitches have dissolve but two.

Banana Bread

We have head colds and Temperence wanted to bake, she declared banana bread. I sat and kept her company as she baked. 

Cushions

Looked outside and seen the cover for the patio furniture was blown completely off. After I brought the pillows inside to dry, thought Cadence would like to climb but she wasn’t impressed.

Sweetness Galore

I haven’t been feeling well and Temperence is aware mornings are worse. Afternoons are most of the time better. I went to bed earlier then she did as she is on break and stays up 9:30-10:00. I came out as she was brushing her teeth and she set up an area for me with this note. She had her two favorite horses, my glasses, glass of water, an orange (only thing I keep down in the AM). Oh and my scarf (it’s freezing here). 

I want to point out that last year at Discovery she didn’t have the confidence in writing anything. This year after her spelling test, her perseverance, and much needed confidence she is not only writing but spelling most correctly.

Another fun day

Temperence will be heading back to school mid next week, I wanted to squeeze in some fun if I could handle it. I have been so sick we haven’t done much. I came up with ice skating unfortunately we landed in the middle of the procession for the fallen officer in Modesto. How I felt/feel for his wife and infant daughter. Of course this brought many questions into her dads career choices. We decided to park and walk since we were only a couple blocks. Once I got everything out and packed up the stroller a couple drunk guys come by and then it started to rain. I looked at Temperence and she said hot chocolate and a movie? We turned back around loaded back up. I felt bad that we weren’t able to go and remember a place I have seen on the local moms Facebook feed. Headed over to it, they had inflatables, games, toddler area and snack bar. Temperence played hard for two hours. On our way home she said she would like to stay home tomorrow. All in all I think it was a success. 

Rockin Jump

Temperence, Cadence and I went to Rockin jump, place is super neat. They have dodgeball, wipe out, rock climber and much more. Temperence wanted to jump for two hours, typically we’d only do an hour but she wanted to so we did. By the time she was done she had made two new friends and was sweating. After we enjoyed In N Out and was able to still see Daddy before he left for work.

Sleepover

Chris was amazing and met Julie to grab Sadie and Natalie from San Jose and bring them to us. The girls had so much fun but wore me out. They made slime, played basketball, tag, went to the park rollerblading and Temperence was roller skating. Of course Cadence enjoyed all the extra attention. 

Post op appointment

Temperence has her appointment head and neck surgern said they got everything no need to go back in. The stitches looked great and will dissolve on their own. 

Sister, I need you

Temperence was trying to take a bath and Cadence couldn’t handle the separation, she wanted in.
