Disney with daddy

Temperence scores another trip to Disney with her daddy, Chris was supposed to do for Aaron’s birthday. Adults only But it ended up canceling. Chris had already made reservations.

Worst big sister

Cadence was having a rough morning and when Temperence picked her up to move her out of the room to close the door she accidentally knocked her forehead. Then when Temperence was using the restroom Cadence followed her into the bathroom and she fell backwards. Poor baby was scared more than anything. Anyhow Temperence I thought was getting ready and instead I find her leaning against the door. I said come on let’s go, she said no I am a horrible big sister. Oh she was being so hard on herself and it broke my heart because she is a fantastic sister. Just happened to be a rough morning. 

Long after Temperence left for school, I was still dwelling on those words. I am the worst big sister. 

After Temperence returned home from school I made a joke about her being the worst big sister as she was on the floor playing and kissing her sister. 

Temperences response was something I thought about even longer after the conversation. 

Mom, that is how I felt. It was right then I wanted to crawl under a rock. How dare I not validate her feelings. Lesson of the day, listen more talk less. 

Not napping today

Cadence was not going to sleep and after she played around in her crib for a while I came in to check on her. She looks at me gets her bottle and proceeds to hand it to me. Then she reaches her arms up for me to pick her up. Made me chuckle, here mom take this now me let’s go.
